I zoo / In the Zoo

Det nye elefant hus er rigtig flot og man kommer meget tæt på elefanterne. Den her elefant prøvede forgæves at nå de gulerødder der lå på jorden men kunne ikke få fat på dem. Lille Rebecca lagde sig ned på maven og stak hele armen ind og fik lige fingrene i en enkelt gulerod som vi så kastede hen til elefanten og den guffede, gjorde den.
The new elephant house in the Copenhagen zoo is very nice and you get very close to the elephants. This one in the picture tried in vain to reach the carrots on the gorund and Rebecca felt really sorry for it after watching it's efforts for 10 minuts or so. Resolute she layed down flat on her belly and put her arm into the pit and grapped a carrot. We threw it to the elephant and it ate it happily.


Pigerne skulle selvfølgelig have lov til at ride en tur. Rebecca turde godt alene så hende fik jeg et billed af, men Hannah villle have mig med rudt så hun må leve uden billede.
The girls wanted a horseback ride and of course they got what they wanted. Rebecca wasn't scared to go alone so I got to take her picture but Hannah wanted me to go with her so I couldn't take her picture at the same time.

I elefanthuset er der også andre aktiviteter. Det var bland andet et elefant puslespil og også de her billeder, hvor man kunne være kongen og dronning af Thailand.

In the elephant house there are other activities too. Among other things there's an elephant puzzle and there's also the possibiliy to be king and queen of Thailand.
